The instinct for finding the striking image inside an ordinary story is what drives Emre Sert and Gözde Yetişkin’s work. Best friends since middle school, they began directing together at university, shooting music videos and short films side by side and have shared every set since. Over more than a decade of collaboration, they’ve built a directing language defined by close observation, dry humor, and a deep trust in each other’s instincts.

Their short film Rodi won Best Fiction at the 28th Istanbul Short Film Festival and was selected for the Boston Turkish Festival’s Documentary & Short Film Competition. In 2020, their project Grace received the TRT Special Award at the 15th Meetings on the Bridge. Their feature debut, Sahibinden Rahmet (Grace for Sale), premiered at the Shanghai International Film Festival earning an Asian New Talent Award nomination before winning Best Screenplay and the Behlül Dal Best First Film Award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.

Sert and Yetişkin now bring that same eye for story to commercial and branded work at Organic Film. They don’t just direct scenes they build a shared world for every story, one they’ve been building together since they were kids.
